Your venue's WiFi already carries millions of data sessions. Carriers will pay for them. Lodeo turns that idle bandwidth into a new revenue stream and a better guest experience: zero capital outlay, zero operational lift, and the WiFi that has only ever been a cost finally earns.

Where it works

If people gather there, it can earn.

Every venue below is part of the same ecosystem: high foot traffic, real dwell time, WiFi already running. That's all it takes. The more devices that pass through your doors, the more sessions offload, and the more your network gets paid.

Density is the only requirement.

Universities put tens of thousands of student devices on campus networks every day, one of the richest offload environments in the market, with game-day surges on top.

Hospitals run 24/7: patients, visitors, and staff generate continuous session volume around the clock, on networks that already exist.

Stadiums and arenas concentrate 20K to 100K+ devices into short, high-value windows, the highest offload revenue per session anywhere.

And the same math works anywhere people gather and stay: hotels, airports, shopping centers, gyms, entertainment districts.

Is your venue a fit? Three questions.
Foot traffic: do meaningful numbers of people pass through your doors daily, or in big event peaks?
Dwell time: do they stay long enough to use their phones? (They do.)
Working WiFi: is a network already running? That's the whole hardware requirement.

How it works

Carriers pay. You get paid.

A subscriber's phone walks in and recognizes the offload network on its own. Your WiFi passes the authentication question along; Lodeo carries it to the carrier; the carrier says yes. Then the money runs backward.

Why Lodeo

Direct. By design.

Most offloading operators sit behind layers of intermediaries, and every layer takes a cut before your venue sees a dollar. Lodeo removed the layers.

/01

Venues earn more

Direct bilateral relationships with carriers mean no upstream margin leak, materially better economics than any intermediated model, with full offload visibility.

/02

One direct relationship

You contract with Lodeo, not a third-party processor. One counterparty, one agreement, one team accountable for everything from deployment to payout.

/03

Zero operational lift

Lodeo handles all infrastructure, integration, and operations end to end. Your IT team approves it once, and never thinks about it again.

/04

Aligned incentives

Lodeo earns on offload volume. The more sessions we offload for carriers through your venue, the more everyone makes. Growth is shared by construction.

The shift

Mobile data keeps growing. Building towers to chase it no longer pays.

Cellular densification (more towers, more spectrum) is increasingly cost-prohibitive. Carrier capex is being redirected toward WiFi offload, and the highest-density venues are still uncontracted.

Carrier-grade by design

The stack carriers already trust, built in-house.

Same authentication and security standards carriers already run on. The difference: Lodeo builds its own RADIUS and settlement layer, so onboarding is our setup process, never anyone's integration project.

Passpoint / Hotspot 2.0

Automatic SIM-based connection via EAP-SIM / EAP-AKA. No captive portal, no user action: devices join the moment they're in range.

RadSec: RADIUS over TLS

Encrypted, certificate-based authentication end to end. The carrier-mandated standard, on every session.

WRIX-d settlement, in-house

Lodeo builds its own RADIUS and settlement layer, with no third-party clearing integration for carriers or venues. Cleaner economics, faster deployment.

Isolated offload SSID + QoS visibility

Fully segmented from venue systems, with real-time RADIUS-level session monitoring at every access point. Never a black box.

Security & separation

Your network stays yours.

The most common question we get isn't about revenue: it's about risk. Here is exactly where the line sits.

Encrypted & fully isolated

Offloaded traffic is encrypted and fully isolated from your business and guest networks. No PII is captured or stored, sessions are ephemeral, and nothing is added to your compliance posture.

Guest experience unchanged

Authentication happens carrier-side. No portal, no login, no app. Your network keeps running exactly as it does today; offload traffic never competes with guests for speed or access.

One sign-off, then silence

Lodeo runs everything technical end to end: integration, monitoring, reporting, compliance, and payouts. Your side is a one-time sign-off from whoever manages your network.

Working together

Built around your venue.

For venues

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is Lodeo?
Lodeo helps venues turn the WiFi they already run into a new revenue stream. Your network already moves enormous amounts of mobile data every day. Lodeo is the operator that makes that capacity earn, and manages the setup, monitoring, reporting, and payouts so you don't have to.
Where does the revenue come from?
Mobile data demand is outpacing what cellular networks can carry, so carriers shift traffic onto venue WiFi through a process called offloading. That offloaded coverage has real value in the mobile ecosystem. Lodeo captures that value on your behalf and returns your share of what carriers pay, with clear reporting on the activity your network handles.
Do we need new hardware or any upfront investment?
In most cases, no. If your existing WiFi meets basic performance and security standards, Lodeo activates your venue remotely: no capital expense, no new equipment. If a small upgrade would meaningfully increase what your location earns, we'll lay that out clearly before anything moves forward.
Will this affect our WiFi speed or our guests?
No. Your network keeps running exactly as it does today, and your guests' experience is unchanged. Offloaded traffic runs alongside your existing service and never competes with it for speed or access.
How is offloaded traffic kept separate from our business?
It's encrypted and fully isolated from your business and guest networks. None of your customer data, internal systems, or guest activity is ever accessed, stored, or shared. Your network stays yours.
How much could our venue earn?
It depends on your foot traffic, dwell time, network quality, and mobile activity in your area. Rather than quote a generic figure, we'll look at your specific location and walk you through the numbers on a call, honestly and with no obligation.
Are we locked into a long contract?
No. Lodeo is built to be low-commitment. The arrangement is designed to keep working because it's worth keeping, not because you're tied to it.
